For the people of Stratford Preparatory, a back to school is no big deal…If you are in seventh grade and above, that is. For some sixth graders, a new school with different rules and ways can be quite shocking. For example, many people were not expecting gym clothes or locker rooms, and some might have even found the hall passes, which might not have been in some schools, irritating. On the other hand, some things people knew about and were expecting were lockers, and for others, the bus was the ideal solution. Still, some students found the bus to be too early, some couldn’t even carpool because their neighbors may have had trouble waking up, and many more reasons. While the bus may seem practical, there are many things to take into account. So, in conclusion, many back-to- school assumptions of it being easy is a clear misconception.
